Heather Swan is a Guinness World Record holding extreme sportswoman. A wingsuit pilot and mountaineer, she is the only woman in the world to successfully combine high altitude Himalayan Mountaineering and wingsuit basejumping. She was awarded Australian Geographic’s Spirit of Adventure Award in 2006.
She is the author of two award winning books and has written feature articles for Australian Geographic and Renegade Collective. She has also written for other Australian and International Magazines. Her photography has been featured in Australian Geographic and countless other publications.
She has featured on 60 Minutes, Australian Story, National Geographic’s ‘Women at the Edge of the World’, Channel 10’s Revealed, ‘The Today Show’, ‘Sunrise’, plus other main stream current affairs and news programs, and in the ‘Australian Women’s Weekly’, ‘Elle Magazine’, ‘Renegade Collective Magazine’, ‘Australian Geographic’, the ‘Good Weekend Magazine’, ‘Who Magazine’, ‘the Sunday Telegraph & many more’.
Heather was a successful corporate executive holding senior Management, Marketing and PR positions with national and multi-national corporations. Most recently she set up and managed a business unit of the Australian Olympic Committee.
Heather is also a professional inspirational speaker. She has delivered keynotes at major events all over Australia and internationally including The USA, Europe, the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Fiji, New Zealand, Malaysia, Dubai, Cambodia and China. She specialises in peak performance, transformation and overcoming fear.
